Alghero is great, but in the non-tourist season many shops and restaurants are closed, public transport is rudimentary, opening hours of monuments are short and not in sync with buses.

Wonderful starting point for many activities by the sea or in nature. Certainly not a place for excessive nightlife.

Beautiful old town, construction sins in the city beach zone, historically interesting, very friendly people.

Awesome experience. The Italian lessons were taught in an original way, with humour and commitment from teachers Aurora and Eleonora.
On top of that, a beautiful city and great cuisine. I learned a lot. I will come back here again.
